An Alaskan Adventure!
Calder Mountain Lodge is located on the northernmost point of Prince of Wales Island, allowing easy access to some of southeast Alaska’s finest fishing. Halibut, Ling Cod and many varieties of Salmon are plentiful in Sumner Strait, so you’ll want to plan the time of your vacation according to the type of fish you are most interested in catching. King Salmon are most plentiful from mid-June through early July, followed by Silver Salmon from July to September. Halibut are abundant all season.
Self-Guided Fishing: $3,400.00 per person
6 nights 5 days double occupancy. Guests will arrive at the lodge by boat. Our self-guided guests use 18′ custom built aluminum boats equipped with 60hp motors. Also included in this trip is transportation from Petersburg to the lodge, meals and lodging, fishing rods and reels, terminal tackle, bait, boat and fuel, G.P.S./Fish Finder combo, radio, rain gear, rubber boots, fish filleting, vacuum packaging and boxing up to 3 boxes. Additional fish processing can be done for a reasonable fee. Not included are fishing license, king salmon stamp and tips. 20-foot covered boats are available as an upgrade for an additional fee.
Guided Fishing: $300 a day per person
Guided fishing can be reserved in advance or at the lodge depending on availability. Guided Fishing tours will be 8 hours and guests will have the comfort of being on a 26ft North River. All tackle provided!
